How does the insurance work?
Once you have booked your camper van with us you are automatically insured on our self hire insurance policy. To comply with this policy, we will just ask you to send over some further documents and a code from the DVLA. Please see the attached document.
How old do I have to be to drive your camper vans?
Our policy states you have to be between the ages of 23 & 70 and have a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
What is included in the price of hire?
We include your insurance for 2 eligible drivers, any additional drivers are chargeable. A full tank of diesel (we expect a full tank on your return), free parking at both collection points, Some treats, tea & coffee etc. And the use of our amazing campervans.
What is provided in the camper van when we hire?
We supply the following: Nespresso coffee machine & Pods, Toaster, Hob top Kettle, Back pack with crockery, plates etc, charging cable, phone holder, black out blinds, 10/20 litre water tank, hook up cable, plus much more.
Do your Camper vans have Sat Nav?
No, but Frank & Marty have apple/andriod car play. The other camper vans are supplied with a mobile phone holder.
How much is the deposit?
The Deposit is normally £500 but our insurers may increase this depending on the number of points you have? If you are aged between 23-24 then the deposit is £750.00 (unless you have more than 6 points).
When do I pay my deposit?
Your deposit is normally paid a few days prior to collection.
What is the mileage limit/excess miles cost?
We have now have an unlimited mileage limit policy whilst travelling, so you can explore to your hearts content.
Are your camper vans manual or automatic?
All our camper vans are manual except Marty who is Automatic
Are your campervans Petrol Or Diesel?
All our camper vans are Diesel.
How many people can your camper vans sleep?
Our camper vans sleep up to 4 people but with the awning attached it is possible for up to 6 people. N.B. They can only be driven with 5 people.
Do you allow dogs?
Yes we do, we just ask you put covers on the seats.
Can I take your camper vans to festivals?
Yes, we just ask that you do not smoke/vape or have joss sticks/candles etc in the Campervans/Awnings at any time.
Can I take your Camper vans abroad?
Yes, our insurance allows for European travel.
Do you supply bedding with your campervans?
We can supply bedding at an additional charge.
Do your camper vans have heaters?
Frank & Marty both have a diesel heater but the other 4 do not have this facility but we put a small electric heater in each of these. N.B. this can only be used when you are hooked up.
